Our policy is simple and straightforward. We never share your information with anyone outside of our organization that is not directly associated with the management or safe conduct of our competition events. It is important that you understand that we are required to share certain aspects of your information, including the medical information you have provided USERA, with event management, medical and insurance providers. In the event of any competition incident resulting in treatment of injury, USERA will use its best judgment when making decisions to share this information with the primary objective being to ensure that you are properly cared for. The collection and sharing of certain information, including your medical information, is a requirement of membership with USERA and anyone unwilling to share such required information may be prohibited from competition. You are urged to contact us immediately if you have any concerns about the way in which your information will be handled.
USERA could not exist without sponsor partner and promoter support. Sponsor partners and promoters associate themselves with USERA in order to market their products and services using our racing series. USERA may share your name, address, phone number and e-mail address with any or all of our sponsor partners and event promoters.
In consideration for being permitted to participate in any USERA sanctioned event, you have agreed to permit USERA and our event promoter/organizer the use of your name, voice and/or likeness, and images of the team members and team cars, for news, publicity, and feature use including radio, television, internet, motion picture film, newspapers, magazines and any and all other media as deemed prudent by USERA to advertise, market and other for the purposes of trade related to USERA. USERA may share your name, team name and other prudent information with various media representatives.
Your information is protected to the best of our ability. However, it is important for you to know that we are required to travel with different degrees of personal information, in both paper and electronic form, that could be placed at risk should theft of USERA equipment occur. Please help us protect your privacy by not revealing information with non-USERA officials.
