The American Touring Championship will join the NASCAR Camping World Series as part of the Mohegan Sun 200 event August 14-15 at Lime Rock Park for rounds 3 and 4 of the Championship.

All but one weekend for the inaugural six weekend, 12 race American Touring Car Championship season have now been finalized. The 2009 season is set to begin in July at Carolina Motorsports Park in July. Next up will be the Mohegan Sun 200 NASCAR Camping World weekend at Lime Rock Park followed by an exciting event at Summit Point Raceway. The Championship then travels to the new Bluegrass Motorsports Park just south of Cleveland, Ohio on Labor Day Weekend. Rounds 9 and 10 will be hosted in October at VIR as part of Synergy Racing's 10th Annual Fall Fling weekend. One weekend remains to be added to the 2009 schedule.
