Puskar Motorsports captured both the 2006 United States Endurance Racing Association (USERA) Team and Driver Championship at the season finale at Lime Rock Park.  Using a combination of hard work and strategy, the team also captured third place in the Team Championship.

Co-Drivers David Daughtery and Chris Puskar had a storybook season, sharing five wins to secure the inaugural Team Championship for Puskar Motorsports.  Brother Danny Puskar brought home third place in the Team Championship for Puskar.  In the middle of the Puskar team sandwich, Dewspeed owner/driver Shawn Dewey won a hard fought second place in the Team Championship.  King Rat Motorsports and P1 Motorsports round out the top five in 2006 Team Championship Points.

The Driver Championship was equally hard fought with Puskar co-drivers Daughtery and Puskar tied in Driver Championship points through the first five Championship rounds.  With the final two races at Lime Rock Park being shorter events, the Puskar duo found themselves battling each other for the Driver Championship.  Puskar assumed the lead over Daughtery when Race 6 was shortened due to a multi-car incident just past the midway point of the race.  The pair realized that they only needed a 14th place finish in the Race 7 to secure the Driver Championship, so for Race 7 the teammates shared a car (and the race points).  Daughtery started Race 7 and ran a handful of laps, then handed the car over to co-driver Puskar who drove a very conservative race to finish 14th and secure the Driver Championship.

Driver Championship contender Shawn Dewey was in the hunt for the Driver Championship heading into the Lime Rock weekend.  But his fight was decided for him when Race 6 was shortened.  Dewey finished third in the Driver Championship behind Puskar and Daughtery.  Rounding out the top five in the Driver Championship were Danny Puskar in fourth and Ben Hohn in fifth.
