Carbotech Brakes Named Official Brakes of USERA
28 February 2006

The United States Endurance Racing Association announced today that Carbotech Brakes, LLC has been named the Official Brakes of the USERA Spec Miata Endurance Championship. Carbotech Brakes has been heavily involved with club and professional sports car racing for 13 years. Their products include friction materials for performance and street car applications, including a line of brake pads for most team tow vehicles.

"USERA is pleased to announce this multi-year association with Carbotech Brakes," said Ken Grammer, President of USERA. "It is our sincere hope that our Championship teams will take full advantage of the technology and performance offered by Carbotech Brakes products to help their drivers refrain from using their competitors as additional friction material."

Carbotech Brakes also announced a contingency program for all Spec Miata Endurance Championship teams that will provide a season total of $3,600 in product awards for teams using Carbotech Brakes.

"Carbotech Brakes is very excited to have the opportunity to be involved with the USERA Spec Miata Endurance Series. This series will allow Spec Miata racers to experience professional endurance racing at an affordable level," said Mike Puskar, President of Carbotech Brakes. "As a manufacturer and racers ourselves, we feel USERA's Spec Miata Endurance Championship is filling a much needed niche' that has been missing for some time. We want to thank USERA for giving Carbotech Brakes the opportunity to be involved with this exciting new series."

As part of the announcement, series number boards will carry the "CARBOTECH" name and will be required by all competitors. Details of the contingency program will be posted on the USERA web site at www.usenduro.com/points.html.
