USERA Announces Goodyear Tires Contingency Program

The United States Endurance Racing Association announced today that the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company is posting a product contingency program for the USERA Spec Miata Endurance Championship worth $17,600 for the 2006 Championship season.

The Contingency Program will provide products based on the finishing positions of teams running Goodyear Tires as follows:

1st - Four free tires
2nd - Four free tires
3rd - Four free tires

"Goodyear is such a strong name in motorsports and having them associated with our Championship is very exciting," said Ken Grammer, President of USERA. "As one of the few professional road racing series with an open tire rule, we are looking forward to the addition of Goodyear as a tire choice for our teams."

Team contingency requirements can be found on the USERA web site at www.usenduro.com/points.html.
